Riverdale Golf Course Improvements

Adams County’s Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts department is proud to be the home of the Riverdale Knolls and Riverdale Dunes golf courses. Learn more about the projects underway at the courses below.

Irrigation Improvements

Project Overview

The Riverdale Dunes Golf Course underwent a full replacement of its irrigation system. Beginning in 2024 and continuing through August 2025, the entirety of the irrigation system was replaced. During this process, a new pump house and irrigation pump were installed making the system more efficient, and cart paths were improved creating a safer experience for carts and golfers.

Retaining Wall Improvements

Project Overview

The Riverdale Knolls Golf Course will undergo improvements to the retaining wall along the 15th fairway from November 2025 through spring of 2026. A study of the retaining wall showed structural deficiencies, and the new wall will be installed during the course’s off-season. In June of 2025, ECI Site Management Inc. was engaged as the contractor for the project.

Clubhouse Improvements

Project Overview

The Riverdale Golf Courses are highly respected in the Denver metro area. The Riverdale Knolls and Riverdale Dunes courses operate out of the same clubhouse, built in 1988. The Clubhouse underwent minor renovations in 2001, but no major improvements have been made since.

The outdated clubhouse will be renovated with upgraded finishes and amenities, including new flooring, a new bar for the clubhouse restaurant, a grab and go snack and beverage station, and upgraded acoustics. Renovations to the exterior canopy will provide improved aesthetics, safety, and usability of the space.
