City View Park

Purpose Statement

To significantly enhance quality of life, enrich communities & INSPIRE.

Project Overview

Adams County is implementing a park improvement and renovation project at City View Park. The project will revitalize the park with ADA walking paths, new playground, hill slides, boulder climbing, shade shelters, and enhanced landscaping within an approximate 4.21-acre park located at 8150 City View Drive, Denver. City View Park is bounded by City View Drive and Cleo Street within the Welby neighborhood in Adams County. The project was based upon community input to completely re-envision the park to better serve the neighborhood community by improving user experience and providing more innovative recreational opportunities, which design was finalized in the fall of 2023.

Project Update

Construction commenced in spring 2024 and will run into the fall. Adams County is planning to incorporate a community event to celebrate involvement within the neighborhood and residents. Be on the lookout for updates on the community event and final grand opening date.
