Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
Workforce Development is a mandatory program for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF or Colorado Works) participants. It is designed to help participants gain employment, maintain stability, and become independent and self-sufficient. Participants are required to work with a case manager and enter into an individualized plan (Roadmap) that specifies the activities, terms, and conditions to continue to receive TANF benefits.
Basic Cash Assistance (BCA)
In addition to providing a direct link to the services offered at the Adams County Workforce Center, BCA case managers:
- Provide support toward self-sufficiency by connecting clients to education, job opportunities, training, and resources.
- Support low-income Coloradans in preparing for job opportunities and retaining employment.
- Assist in identifying, developing, and promoting strategies to increase household income and economic stability.
