What does Economic Development do?

The Economic Development Division focuses on providing support and assistance for small business development in unincorporated Adams County as well as continuous improvement of the development review process. The Division also provides guidance and assistance within the review process for development projects plus the creation and implementation of neighborhood economic development strategies.

Enterprise Zone Program Update

The Adams County Economic Development Office is now administering the Enterprise Zone program in Adams County. Enterprise Zones are state-funded programs encouraging business development and job growth in economically distressed areas.
