The Finance Department includes the accounting, purchasing, and payroll divisions. The department provides all necessary accounting, payroll, purchasing, and sales tax support and information to all county departments and citizens of Adams County.

Responsibilities & Services

The Finance Department provides all necessary accounting, payroll, purchasing, and sales tax support and information to all county departments and citizens of Adams County. One of our main responsibilities is to develop an ACFR relating to the county’s overall annual expenditures. In addition to detailing exactly where and how government monies were spent, the ACFR describes the county’s assets and liabilities at the end of each fiscal year.
