Budget & Finance

The Budget & Finance Department provides all necessary accounting, approval of vouchers by the Board of Commissioners, payroll, procurement and contracts (purchasing), expense management, p-cards, sales tax rates, and information to all county departments and the residents of Adams County. In addition, the Budget division prepares monthly financial statements, annual budgets, and appropriation reports for all county departments and special districts, advising the BoCC of the financial condition and future needs of the county.

Mill Levy Certification

Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute (C.R.S.) 39-1-111, Adams County is required to annually certify tax levies for cities, towns, municipalities, school districts, and special districts within its jurisdiction to the Assessor and the State of Colorado.
