Providing Fiscal Transparency

One of the main responsibilities of the General Accounting Division is to develop an Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) relating to the county’s overall annual expenditures. In addition to detailing exactly where and how government monies were spent, the ACFR describes the county’s assets and liabilities at the end of each fiscal year. In 2023, Adams County began producing its Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR), which presents financial information in a simplified format, in addition to providing community-focused updates and statistics.
