Liquor Licensing
Licenses or permits for the sale of alcoholic beverages are required in unincorporated Adams County. Colorado liquor and beer retail licenses are issued by both county and state licensing authorities. All license or permit applications must be submitted to the Adams County local licensing authority and given approval prior to filing with the State of Colorado Liquor Licensing Division.

Marijuana Licensing
Adams County currently allows recreational marijuana facilities only. This includes retail marijuana stores, retail cultivation facilities, marijuana infused product manufacturers (MIPS), and retail marijuana testing facilities. A cap is in place, allowing only 17 marijuana establishments within unincorporated Adams County.

Liquor and Marijuana Licensing Authority Board (LMLAB)
Liquor and Marijuana Licensing Authority Board Meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month (with the exception) at the Adams County Government Center, 4430 South Adams County Parkway, Brighton, CO 80601
