Capital Improvement Projects

The Capital Improvement Program Division is made up of engineers, planners, surveyors, and real estate professionals who work together with contractors to design roadway, bridge, traffic, and drainage projects in the county’s public right-of-way. The team supports projects from concept all the way through delivery. They also support the development review process and provide engineering and professional guidance for the county.

Regional Transportation

Transit Program

The Community Transit program is a joint project between Adams County and the cities of Arvada, Commerce City, Federal Heights, Thornton, Northglenn, and Westminster to improve transportation services for our shared aging community in Adams County. This is a grant- and community-funded program, and all rides are free.
