Operations & Maintenance

The Operations Division is responsible for routine, programmed, and emergency maintenance of the public rights-of-way and infrastructure. The division focuses on four primary categories of maintenance: Roads, Snow & Ice, Traffic, and Maintenance.

Operations Districts

The county has been divided into three districts to better serve residents at the local level.

  • District 1 covers the area from the Jefferson County line to Sable Boulevard in Brighton.
  • District 2 covers the area from Sable Boulevard in Brighton to SH 79 near Bennett.
  • District 3 covers the area from SH 79 near Bennett to the Washington County line.

If you have an issue on a State Route, (such as I-76, SH 224, SH 7), contact the Colorado Department of Transportation. The county does not operate or perform maintenance on State Routes.
