Celebrate the rich culture and vibrancy of Latino heritage at Adams County Festival Latino! This free, family-friendly event promises an unforgettable celebration of Latino culture. In addition to live music, art, and food, we’re bringing in world-class visual artists to create large-scale sculptural installations, interactive murals, and opportunities for reflection. Fireworks to follow at sunset.

Adams County presents Festival Latino 3ra Edición at Riverdale Park. Bands include Medialuna, Cimarron, La Exclusiva. Free entry, activities, and art displays on Sunday, 14th September.

Art at Festival Latino

In addition to live music, community resources, local vendors, and a car show, we’re bringing in a lineup of amazing local artists to create interactive and site-specific installations that will shine a spotlight on the vibrant Latino culture in Adams County and beyond.

Brian Labra Vergara and George Davis

Brian Labra Vergara and George Davis are interdisciplinary artists, storytellers, and creative advocates from Colorado. They are partnering with Cross Industry Dynamics, an Adams County-based design and manufacturing consultancy specializing in large format 3D printing.

Brian and George bring their project Nuestra Memoria, a community project inspired by the sugar skulls of Día de los Muertos. Their large-scale 3D printed sculptures will be painted by the attendees of Adams County’s Festival Latino. Nuestra Memoria echoes our community and symbolizes the memories of our departed.

Brandon Vargas

Brandon Vargas is an Adams County native and a Denver-based artist. They are currently an Alto Gallery resident supported by the Redline Satellite Studio Resident program. Brandon has been shown in solo and group shows around the CO, including at Dateline, Redline, Art Gym, Alto Gallery, Bell Projects, and Emmanuel Gallery. Brandon received his BFA in Fine Arts from CU Denver in 2018.

Brandon is bringing their interactive printmaking project Mesoamerican Totem to Festival Latino 2025. Honoring the history of Mesoamerican cultures and beliefs, attendees will use hand carved rolling stamps to create their own unique prints featuring Mesoamerican gods.

Sasha Primo

At the intersection where creativity and community converge, Sasha Primo weaves tales of color, identity, culture, and empowerment. Born in Argentina, educated in painting and electronic arts, Sasha uses public space to give life to hyper-realistic murals of indigenous peoples as an invitation to explore distant lands and reflect about the rich tapestry of cultural diversity. Sasha has produced work across the world, including Mexico, Ecuador, and Panama.

Sasha and his team will bring the expansive Spiral Maze to this year’s Festival Latino. This 30×30 installation features three 8×8 freestanding murals, a labyrinth, altar, and ofrendas making station led by Sasha. Attendees will create their offrendas, and walk through the labyrinth to place them at the altar. The three free standing murals feature pre-hispanic power animals. This experience is meant to be reflective and serene, honoring life as a united community.

Wey Mnky

WeyMnky is an artist and designer from Denver, Co. Born and raised in the jungles of the infinite universe. He is inspired by street art, graffiti, and pop culture. WeyMnky spends most of his time eating bananas and drawing doodles.

Wey Mnky has created a free standing mural made up of four separate pieces, approximately 4×4 each. The mural features a large Quetzalcoatl, rising up from the ground and spanning nearly 20 feet. The mural is meant to spark curiosity, celebrate culture, and give attendees a spot to connect and take photos.

Diego Florez Arroyo

Diego Florez-Arroyo is a Colorado-based poet, artist, and musician whose works spans various mediums, from large-scale installations, to multimedia theatrical performances.

Diego’s artistic journey is deeply rooted in his cultural heritage and personal experiences, creating works that resonate with the soul and challenge societal norms. His work is a testament to the power of art as a tool for cultural preservation, social commentary, and personal liberation. Florez-Arroyo, alongside Bruce Trujillo, founded Manos Sagrados an arts and event space located in the Aurora Cultural Arts District in Adams County, Colorado.

Diego is inviting Festival Latino attendees to paint four murals with him and his team of artists. Focused on Mexican pride and independence, these murals will stand at over 8 feet tall and 16 feet wide.

K Works Studio

This dynamic woman-led multi-disciplinary creative studio is known for pushing unique design solutions and having fun while they do it. The aspiration: to bring new perspectives to the architecture and design world from small to large, paving new pathways and forging meaningful relationships. Co-founded by Katharina Hoerath and Katie Donahue, this award-winning architecture firm works globally with offices in the Cotswolds/ Cheltenham, UK and Denver, USA, backed by a dedicated team of talented designers.

They are bringing their larger-than-life Rainbow Arch Pavilion to Adams County Festival Latino 2025. With bright colors and patterns, and swings underneath each archway, this installation will serve as a place to relax, connect, and celebrate.

Mariana Thornton

Mariana Thornton is a Cuban-born, Denver-based creative who turns bold ideas into intentional, impactful visuals. As the founder and sole visionary behind Organized Chaos, she brings murals, graphic design, and immersive experiences to life—infusing every project with heart, culture, and clarity.

With a background rooted in fine art and community-centered design, Mariana specializes in translating complex stories into powerful visuals that connect. Whether she’s hand-painting a large-scale mural or designing a brand identity from scratch, her work balances strategy with spontaneity—finding beauty in the messy middle of creativity.
