Our Community Partners provide various services from housing to health care to food services to residents. Almost Home promotes self-sufficiency and provides assistance to those individuals and families experiencing housing instability. They help prevent and confront homelessness in Adams and Weld County through a spectrum of services including our Emergency Assistance Programs, Family Shelter, Housing Navigation Center, Street Outreach, and motel/hotel voucher program.

A Precious Child

A Precious Child assists children and families facing difficult life challenges such as abuse and neglect, crises situations, and poverty. An emergency children’s clothing boutique is located on the first floor of the building. Clients must be always accompanied by an employee. For eligible families, children’s clothing, diapers, and hygiene products are available at no charge as well as vouchers for the main location’s larger center.

Benefits in Action

This is a nonprofit organization located in Lakewood that serves individuals throughout the state. They strive to increase understanding, access, and utilization of healthcare resources and other public benefits. Their team of navigators work with individuals to help them recognize the health-related benefits they qualify for, apply for those benefits, and utilize them as effectively as possible. They are passionate about the importance of increasing benefit literacy among the public.

CASA

CASA is a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization that trains and supervises community volunteers to represent the best interests of our most vulnerable citizens—child victims of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse and neglect. Volunteer CASA Advocates are appointed by judges to be a voice for these children in court.

Center for People with Disabilities

Center for People with Disabilities assists people with all disabilities in overcoming barriers to independent living, at no cost to them. A continuum of programs provides Independent Living Skills, Advocacy, Information & Referral, Peer Support, and Nursing Home and Youth Transitions. Services for Veterans, people with visual impairments, employment, and other specialized services.

Family Tree

Family Tree partners with all people to prevent and overcome the interconnected issues of child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness to promote safety, healing, and stability across generations. Team members from the Housing and Family Stabilization; TANF Stable Families and SafeCare programs are onsite to help directly connect individuals to our services. Additional programs for Adams County include Roots of Courage emergency residential services for domestic violence survivors and CFRT for Adams County referred families.

Joyful Journeys helps improve the lives of everyone by providing critical human services like food, clothes, hygiene products, baby items, and school supplies. It also has a thrift store in Broomfield with clothing, furniture, and other items at a low cost or for free, based on the ability to pay. Joyful Journeys also offers free to low-cost programs and classes open to anyone to attend.
