Facilities & Fleet Management

Facilities & Fleet Management is entrusted with the planning and execution of new construction projects and the renovation of existing County facilities. This department is responsible for the provision and management of building repair and maintenance services, custodial services within County facilities, and landscaping services for County­ operated properties. Furthermore, they oversee the repair, maintenance, acquisition, and disposal of all County-owned vehicles and equipment.

The department also oversees the distribution of mail between County facilities, manages switchboard operations, and coordinates the use of conference centers. Additionally, they are responsible for the strategic acquisition and disposition of all County-owned real property, ensuring optimal use and management of these assets.

As a pivotal partner in the County’s 2030 Sustainability Plan, Facilities & Fleet Management is committed to advancing the County’s environmental objectives and spearheading sustainability initiatives. These efforts include implementing energy-efficient systems in new and renovated buildings, promoting the use of renewable energy sources, and reducing the carbon footprint of County operations. The department also focuses on sustainable landscaping practices, waste reduction, and recycling programs.
