Budget & Finance
The Budget & Finance Department provides all necessary accounting, approval of vouchers by the Board of Commissioners, payroll, procurement and contracts (purchasing), expense management, among many other finance-related services, to all county departments and residents.
Colorado Air and Space Port
Colorado Air and Space Port (CASP or CFO) is a public-use, general aviation airport owned and operated by Adams County. It is one of the 12 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) commercial spaceports in the United States that can support horizontal launch and landing operations.
Communications
The Communications Department is the information link between Adams County, its communities and residents, and the media. The office prepares and distributes news releases, answers media inquiries, produces written materials, and much more.
Community & Economic Development
The Community & Economic Development Department serves Adams County through an integrated and equitable approach to planning and community investment. We partner with neighborhoods, businesses, agencies, and others to bring about positive change for Adams County.

The Community Safety & Well-Being department leads with a social equity and justice lens to elevate people, improve systems, and strengthen neighborhoods.
County Attorney
The County Attorney’s Office serves as general counsel to the Board of County Commissioners, elected officials, county departments, and such other agencies as authorized by the Board of County Commissioners.
County Manager
The county manager’s duties include implementing the policies and priorities of the Board of County Commissioners and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the county.
Facilities & Fleet Management
Facilities & Fleet Management is responsible for new construction and renovation, building repair and maintenance, environmental services, landscaping, equipment repair, preventative maintenance, solid waste pickup and recycling/sustainability, and maintenance and disposal of all county vehicles and equipment.
Health Department
The Health Department is dedicated to protecting and promoting the well-being of all residents. We offer a wide range of services, including immunizations, disease prevention, health education, environmental health inspections, and emergency preparedness. Our team works closely with community partners to ensure access to quality healthcare, support healthy lifestyles, and respond to public health concerns.

Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts
The Parks, Open Space & Cultural Arts Department provides planning, management and maintenance of the county parks system that includes developed parks, facility rentals, the Memorial Bench Program, open space properties, Riverdale Regional Park, Adams County Fairgrounds, and trails. The Cultural Arts division brings arts and culture to the residents of Adams County.

Riverdale Animal Shelter
Riverdale Animal Shelter provides a myriad of services including sheltering, adoption, low-cost vaccinations, and microchip clinics to help safeguard pets against illness or being lost forever.
Elected Officials
Assessor
The Assessor’s Office is responsible for valuing all real and personal property within the county for tax purposes. Our office provides resources for property owners, including assessment information, exemptions, and appeals.
Board of County Commissioners
The county commissioners are constitutional officers who act collectively as the governing board. The board manages the affairs of the county as authorized by the state. Powers granted to the board by the state are broad, which allows the board independence in judgment.
Clerk & Recorder
The Clerk & Recorder is an elected official of Adams County and serves the public as set forth in Colorado State Statutes. Through offices situated in various locations throughout the county, the Clerk & Recorder’s Office files maps, handles elections, issues marriage licenses, prepares and issues motor vehicle titles and plates, records documents, and registers voters.
Coroner
The Office of the Coroner is mandated by Colorado Revised Statute (state law) with a primary obligation to establish the cause and manner of death of individuals that die within the statutory jurisdiction of the office.

District Attorney’s Office
The District Attorney’s Office is focused on two primary goals: keeping the community safe and making our criminal justice system better. We do this by pursuing justice with integrity in every case and by holding ourselves to the highest standards of ethics and excellence.
Treasurer & Public Trustee
The Treasurer and Public Trustee is responsible for collecting and distributing property taxes, managing county funds, and overseeing foreclosure processes with fairness and transparency.
