Adams County Launches First-Ever Podcast: All In Adams

April 1st, 2025

Adams County is committed to transparency, service, and connection, and now there’s a new way to stay informed, All In Adams, the county’s first-ever podcast. This podcast is designed to bring residents closer to their county government, ensuring they know about the services available to them and how their tax dollars are put to work. Whether you’re in your car, at the gym, or at home, All In Adams is here to keep you informed and engaged.

“We’re all in for our residents and employees, and this podcast is another way we’re making sure they have direct access to the information that matters most,” said Commissioner Lynn Baca, Chair of the Board of County Commissioners. “It’s about making government more transparent, more accessible, and more personal, because Adams County is here to serve you.”

The first episodes of All In Adams introduced listeners to the members of the Board of County Commissioners. Three episodes are available now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, featuring Commissioner Baca, Commissioner Julie Duran Mullica, Vice Chair of the board, and Commissioner Emma Pinter, District 3. These episodes offer insights into why they ran for office, their goals for the county, and even some fun facts about their lives beyond public service.

“We know residents want easy access to county information, and All In Adams delivers that in a way that’s engaging and convenient,” Mullica said. “This podcast isn’t just about government—it’s about the people, the programs, and the impact we’re making in our community.”

Produced mainly by host and Communications Director, Nikki Kimbleton, and Videographer and Multimedia Specialist, Matt Bell, each episode of All In Adams will spotlight key county initiatives, essential services, and the people behind them. From public safety to parks and open spaces, economic development to human services, the podcast will provide a behind-the-scenes look at how Adams County is working for its residents.

“This podcast reflects our commitment to meeting people where they are, ensuring they have the knowledge they need about their county and the resources available to them,” said David Fraser, Interim County Manager. “It’s about transparency, accountability, and making sure our residents know—we’re all in for them.”

With more people turning to podcasts for news and information, All In Adams is launching at the perfect time. According to the Pew Research Center, about half of Americans regularly listen to podcasts, and three-quarters of those listeners say they learn valuable information they wouldn’t get elsewhere. That number is only expected to grow, with Statista projecting 40 million more podcast listeners nationwide by the end of the decade.

“All In Adams isn’t just a new platform, it’s a promise to our community,” Kimbleton said. “It’s our responsibility to utilize all the channels at our disposal to give our residents the information they need about their county, our services, and how we’re working to make their lives better. This podcast is filling an essential need for our community, and that’s connection.”
