Fire District Impact Fees

On December 12, 2018, the Adams County Board of Commissioners approved an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with eight fire districts that provide services to the County to collect “fire district impact fees” for proposed development. Collection of the fees began on January 1, 2018. The fees are collected by each fire district for projects located in their specific district. Adams County will not issue a final building permit until documentation has been obtained showing proof of payment. Below are the eight fire districts implementing impact fees along with their fee schedules.
